The Arizona Hockey Referees Association does not schedule officiating seminars in Arizona. This is done through our State Supervisor of Officials and USA Hockey affiliate. Please inquire directly to USA Hockey or our State Supervisor of Officials with all seminar related questions.

FOR 2024-25 LEVEL 1 REFEREES ONLY; To officiate in Arizona this season, all Level 1 officials must attend an in-person seminar. This seminar will consist of a classroom portion and an on-ice portion. This is in addition to the requirements from USA Hockey, including a virtual seminar, a background screening (based on age), and a SafeSport screening (based on age)

 

Please complete this form to participate in the seminar and finish your requirements. A couple of things to note for these seminars:

• Before you can participate in a seminar, you must have your 2024-25 card and crest. If you do not have it, you will be denied entry.

• For the on-ice portion, you will be required to wear full official attire, just like you would be officiating a game, including wearing your 2024-25 crest. There are no exceptions.
